Hisayo was so kind and attentive. My flight was delayed and I arrived very late, but she offered me tea and a hot shower as soon as I got there. The stay was comfortable and easy, and the place is about 15 minutes from Haneda airport by Uber, with the nearest station less than a 10-minute walk away, just two blocks. I’d happily come back if I get the chance. It seems like a great choice for solo travelers, especially women.

We felt at home right away, and the warm, friendly atmosphere made us wish we could’ve stayed another night. Miss Hisayo made sure everyone was comfortable, welcomed us in, and clearly explained the house rules. We also enjoyed talking with her about our time in Japan, and she suggested some nearby restaurants and things to do. The bathroom was spotless, and the futons were really comfortable. I’d definitely return and recommend this traditional Japanese inn. See you!

Hisayo was a lovely, friendly host, and chatting with someone who speaks English gave me a local’s perspective on Japan as a solo traveler. She pointed me to nearby dinner spots, and that personal welcome made the whole stay a really good experience. I’d strongly recommend staying here and would choose it again on my next trip to Japan. The quiet, conveniently located neighborhood was a nice bonus, but the kind and thoughtful host made this Japanese inn a real highlight of our time in Japan. I only wish we’d had longer there. Thank you, Hisayo san.

We were comfortable as a family with our three-year-old in the traditional Japanese-style room, and it felt like a cozy home. The English-speaking host was warm and friendly, and recommended a great restaurant for dinner. We hope to stay again, and I hope she gets the same heartfelt welcome from others when she visits Taiwan.
