Hotel JAL City Haneda Tokyo West Wing

A fairly new, clean hotel with friendly staff and a great breakfast service. The location is convenient for Haneda Airport, and the hotel runs a shuttle both to and from the airport.

The room was clean and pleasant, and the staff were all really friendly. The hotel is right by the airport, which is handy. There are a few small restaurants and convenience stores in the neighborhood, though you have to walk a little to reach them. The room was small, as is usual in Japan.

The location is amazing, the hotel is very clean, and the amenities are fantastic. The water pressure was great, the bed was comfortable despite the small room, and the bathroom was clean and well stocked. They provide slippers, pajamas, a shoe polishing cloth, brush, shoehorn, and plenty more. The pajamas are very sheer, so I wouldn't recommend walking around in them. There’s a downstairs lounge with drinks, plus fresh breads in several varieties each morning, including chocolate and pumpkin. Family Mart is only a two minute walk away. I really loved staying here, but I did have a frustrating mix-up with my pocket Wi-Fi delivery. I’d arranged for it to arrive at the hotel, and when I checked in, the English-speaking woman at the desk said it wasn’t there. I checked my emails repeatedly and even went to the post office, and everyone said it had been delivered. When I asked again, the same woman still said no. I showed her an email, then the man beside her pointed out that the package label was right in front of her on the desk. It had been delivered on the day I arrived. I’m guessing there was confusion over my name. Even if you think your name is simple, it may be hard to understand, so it might help to have a Japanese person write it for you.

The staff were really helpful, and the rooms and bathrooms were super clean. There are restaurants and both 7/11 and Family Mart within walking distance. Great location, excellent amenities. I’d definitely come back.
