Hotel Livemax Tokyo Kanda East

I’ve been to Tokyo many times and stayed in lots of budget hotels, and this is the worst one for me. Cars go past all night, and the windows leak and don’t block the sound. I kept hearing the traffic, and it woke me whenever I tried to sleep. I can’t figure out why it’s fully booked. Truly awful.

The room was a little cramped for two adult men, but it was still a good place to stay. Service was quick and the staff knew what they were doing. It’s very close to kanda station, just one stop from tokyo.

My wife and I had a great stay, checking out today. We mainly use hotels as a place to rest while traveling, and this one suited us well. The room and bathroom were very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful with taxis and general information. It’s around a 5-10 minute walk from several train stations, which made getting around easy. The hotel is also fairly central and convenient for Haneda airport.

We spent four nights at livemax kanda east during our Japan tour. It’s a 7-8 minute walk from JR kanda station, and getting to Tokyo’s main tourist spots is convenient from there. The rooms are a bit small, but very clean and stocked with the essentials. There are lots of restaurants nearby, though the neighborhood gets quiet as early as 8-9 pm.
