The hotel is easy to reach, with a 5 minutes walk from Machida station odakyu line and 8 minutes from Machida JR Yokohama Station. There’s a 7eleven next to the building and plenty of restaurants nearby. A bus stop for Haneda and Narita Airport is about 5 minutes away, though both routes only run once a day, early in the morning, if I’m not mistaken. The room is standard Japanese hotel size, so relatively small. Cleanliness was okay, not perfectly clean but not obviously dirty either. I found some piling dust in corners, but it was still okay. Pay attention to the hours: the hotel automatically cancels reservations if you don’t check in after 23.00. Reception staff are only there from 11.00 ~ 23.00, so call ahead if you’re likely to arrive later.

There’s plenty of shopping and places to eat nearby, and a 7-Eleven is right next door. This small, fairly new hotel for business and tourism is very close to JR/Odakyu Machida Station. The rooms are small but clean and efficient, the staff are pleasant, and the WiFi is very good. All nice and cool.

The price is affordable, but the rooms are dusty and not neat. There’s no free coffee or tea. I hope they can take care of that, thank you.

There are plenty of restaurants nearby, a convenience store right next door, and a good amount of parking. It’s also quiet even though Machida Station is close. The room is small, which I can understand, but it has a stubborn damp-clothes smell that didn’t go away even with the window open. The bathroom drain is slow too. I’d stay when the rate is low, but at a higher price it feels way overpriced.

There’s a microwave in the room, which is handy for heating up a convenience store bento without going down to the lobby. This Machida Station branch uses card keys, though entry methods differ between Livemax locations. There’s no breakfast like at Toyoko Inn, so it really is just a place to stay overnight.
