JR-East Hotel Mets Shibuya

The shower was the standout, easily 10/10, with a rain shower and a separate room. The fridge was surprisingly large too. The bathroom was tiny but workable, and the TV could sit closer to the wall. It sticks into the walkway, and I bumped into it several times. The room was a bit small for two, and the bed was too short for me at 196 cm tall. The hotel was clean, the staff and service were excellent, and the location, directly connected to shibuya station, couldn't be better. I'd stay again.

The rooms were clean, and for everything included, the stay was worth it. They were a little tight, and I could hear people in the hallway and trains in the distance. It was quiet enough that the sound was more like white noise than a nuisance. The hotel is well located for the station, shops, and food, with free amenities and great service.

We found several amenities at reception for guests to pick up, which was very convenient. The front desk staff were extremely polite and helpful, and they used a translation device to communicate with us more easily. Check-in was near Shibuya Station, especially handy for reaching the Yamanote Line and getting around the city. I had a very good stay at the JR East Hotel Mets Shibuya. The rooms are small, as you'd expect in Tokyo, but functional and well organized. Everything was very clean.

The room was very small and basic, but it was good value for such a great location. You can walk straight from the hotel to the train, or over to Shibuya Scramble, with lots of food and the entrance to a huge, nice mall. Shibuya Crossing is very close too.
