The staff were really friendly, and the hotel is in a good spot. A cab to Ikebukuro station West is around 500-600 yen if you don’t feel like walking. There aren’t many power outlets in the room, so bring a splitter if you need to charge several things. Mine had three USA-style two-prong sockets, no three-prong outlet, and two USB A ports.

A useful extra is the Yamada store on the ground floor, and there’s an elevator for anyone with heavy bags. The microwave is in the lobby, which is a little inconvenient, but it didn’t spoil an otherwise positive stay. The hotel is clean and affordable, and particularly suited to business travelers. Ikebukuro Station is close, with plenty of small restaurants nearby. Staff are friendly and speak English, Chinese, and Japanese. I’d happily stay again.

It’s a decent business hotel near Ikebukuro Station, with lots of restaurants right outside. If you need a cheap option, this is one.

We could leave our luggage at the hotel after checkout and go out without carrying it around, which was handy. Checkout is at 10, and check-in is around 3-4. The room was nice, the staff were really friendly, and there are lots of good restaurants nearby. It’s also close to the main subway station. A nice place to stay in Tokyo.

The rooms are really big for Japan, and the neighborhood in ikebukuro is quiet. You’re still only a short walk from plenty of food options. I’d stay here again.
