Hotel Prele

The hotel is affordable, and the staff are very supportive. It has clean, neat bunk beds and is also good for women travelling alone, with the fourth floor reserved for solo female travellers.

There are better places in the same area for less money. To me, this was a tourist trap and not worth even half the price. It's more like a dorm than a hotel, and there's barely room to move if more than two or three people are around. The beds were small, uncomfortable, and dirty. The elevator is ridiculous, it can't even fit two people. There's almost nowhere to put your luggage, and even if you find a spot, there's no room to open the bag and get anything out. I have no idea why it costs so much. I'd strongly suggest looking for another option nearby.

The bathrooms and toilets smelled bad and didn't feel hygienic. For a dorm shared by everyone, disposable slippers for bathroom and toilet use would have been helpful. The bed was small and dirty, the sheets were dirty too, and there was no sound insulation. Being close to the common area made it very hard to sleep. The location is far from prominent public transport, and the rooms cost too much for what you get. It seems aimed at tourists looking for a capsule hotel, but this is more of a shared dorm and not a good one. The price isn't worthwhile, you could get a great Airbnb for the same amount.

It was extremely quiet, so if that's what you're after, this hostel might suit you. It's not social, though, and not a great place to meet people. The workers we spoke to were polite and very nice. The hostel was extremely clean, and I was especially impressed by the lovely, spotless shower rooms. Their position in the hallway leading to the tiny common area wasn't ideal. The beds weren't comfortable, and I could feel the springs whenever I moved. Rooms were crammed, with barely enough space to open or rearrange bags, and nowhere to lock them. During our two-night stay, some men in our room kept walking by our beds and looking at our belongings. We lost sleep because we felt we had to stay awake and watch our things. Locks on the storage areas under the beds would have helped. It's not the worst hostel, but definitely not the best.
