Hotel Ryumeikan Tokyo

Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a real help after my long flight, and I liked the breakfast buffet enough to eat it for four days without getting bored. Service was great too. I rented the leg massager for 1000yen a night, and it really helped my tired legs. The room size is better than a lot of hotels near Tokyo station, and the price is very reasonable. Still, there isn't much space to put things, and the standard pillow wasn't good, though you can ask for a better one. There are just two washing machines and two dryers, one set on level 10 and another on level 12, so doing laundry can be tricky unless you're around during the day. I'd call it 4.5 stars. Laundry aside, I'd stay here again on my next trip to Tokyo.

They did their best to work around the cleaning schedule because my daughter was sick and resting in the room all day. The staff were professional, spoke excellent English, and were very well dressed. Our four-person suite was a comfortable size, and having laundry facilities was a big bonus. The rooms are very well looked after. Thank you, Ryumeikan! It's in a great location, and I'd highly recommend it.

I've been coming back to Ryumeikan Hotel during my trips to Tokyo over the past few years, and the staff made my latest stay especially memorable. A health issue meant I had to change plans at the last minute and head home within a few days. My luggage had already been sent from another hotel to the airport hotel, and I couldn't get anyone at the courier company to answer the phone. I explained what had happened at the front office. The staff member on duty patiently helped get everything sorted and kept smiling throughout. I'm very grateful for all the kind arrangements.

After a busy day, it was nice to be welcomed back so politely by the attentive, professional staff. The rooms are carefully cleaned and well maintained. There are plenty of food outlets and classy restaurants nearby, and Nihombashi station is close, which is a real benefit for travellers.
