Hotel Villa Fontaine Tokyo - Kudanshita

The hotel sits on a street corner, and the train station is within a five-minute walk. The rooms are nice, just a little small.

Such a quiet, peaceful place, and the subway line is nearby. The rooms were spotless and the bed was comfortable. They'd thought of lots of useful extras too, like pajamas, slippers, and a charger. Every staff member was kind. I stayed three nights and, as someone who's very picky about hotels, was really happy with it. I'll come back next time I'm in Tokyo. Thanks for a great stay!

The rooms are small, which is to be expected, and breakfast was somewhere between okay and good. The location is convenient, and the staff were friendly and very accommodating. They speak English.

I found this to be a very well-run hotel. The rooms are clean, carefully laid out, and soundproofed. They're small, as you'd expect at a reasonably priced Tokyo hotel, and I'd have liked a little more space. In my experience, this is the only soundproofed hotel I've stayed at in Japan. The location is excellent for getting around, with direct subway lines to Shibuya, Shinjuku, Roppongi, TCAT, Ginza, and Shimbashi. Tokyo Dome baseball stadium is a 15-minute walk away, and there are restaurants and combini shops nearby. I thought the optional breakfast was worth the extra JPY 1500. I'd rate the hotel 9.5/10.
