Ichiyu Asakusa Hotel

The room was clean and spacious enough for the two of us, including our two large and two small bags. The amenities were good and self-service, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There are lots of convenience stores around the corner, plus a laundromat and supermarket. It’s near Sensoji Temple and other attractions around there. The nearest station, Iriya st, is about a 10-minute walk, but the hotel was great for the price we paid.

The room was decent, but the air got smelly since there was no way to open a window.

There are convenience stores nearby, handy for picking up late night snacks or drinks. Getting to either station takes about 10 minutes. Our room at Ichiyu Hotel was small but had everything we needed, including a fridge, slippers, a robe, towels, and soap. We had a great stay and would book again.

There are plenty of places to eat and convenience stores around, and it's close to Asakusa shrines and other tourist spots. Iriya station is a little farther away. The rooms are fairly spacious for a Japanese hotel, with a practical layout that gave two of us room to sit and spread out our luggage. It's basically a Japanese apartment converted into a hotel, without facilities like a gym, so it works well for a short stay or Tokyo stopover.
