Kichijoji Excel Hotel Tokyu

The staff were the best part for me. Every person I dealt with was so helpful and kind. My Japenglish was pretty rough, but they still accommodated us and went above and beyond. When my husband's package arrived at the hotel and he was running late, the staff took it on themselves to make sure we were looked after. The delay wasn't the delivery driver's fault or the hotel's. We stayed in February and I'm booking again for next year's trip. Our standard double room was bigger than most hotel rooms, though two check-in sized suitcases made it feel a little cramped. The property and extras are worth the extra money if comfort matters to you. It's a bit of a walk from Kichijoji station, but we enjoyed exploring and eating around the area.

There's lots of food and shopping within walking distance, and the hotel is incredibly clean. The staff were so kind and made check-in easy even though I don't speak Japanese fluently. We're staying here on vacation now and love it. Such a pleasant little hotel, and I'd absolutely recommend it.

The breakfast was amazing, with lots of choices and simple food. The place was clean and okay for a first visit, but the room was much smaller than at other hotels, and the price felt a bit high for what they provide.

We booked without doing much research and got a spacious, clean room with attentive, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. The surprise was a view of Mt. Fuji from our window! The rooms were quiet, comfortable, and very clean, and I'd highly recommend Kichijoji if you're visiting Tokyo. There's a restaurant, though we didn't try it because there were so many other options in Kichijoji. Shopping and transit are close by. We'll definitely be back.
