The staff were helpful and friendly, and for a stay near Akihabara, we thought it was great value. Akihabara Station is only 700 meters away, making this a good spot for a family vacation. There’s a popular ramen shop across the street and a FamilyMart nearby. The rooms are quite small, as is typical for Japanese accommodations, but the place is impressively well equipped. The kitchen has an electric stove and a full set of dishes, and the laundry area has both a washer and dryer. Very, very recommended!

For exploring eastern Tokyo, the location worked well. Akihabara station is under a 10-minute walk, with good walking access to Ueno and Asakusa. You can also reach Shibuya and Shinjuku by subway in about 40 minutes. The elevator and rooms use code panels, so there’s no key card to carry around. You do need to keep the code handy and return the receipt with it at checkout, though, which was a hassle since it’s easy to mix up with other receipts. This was probably one of the most comfortable places we stayed. The rooms are large for Tokyo, so it seems especially good for families, and it felt like renting an entire apartment. We had a big bed, a bunk bed, and a couch underneath. When my wife got sick, she was worried about passing it to me, so she slept comfortably on the bunk. The room was very clean, with a large table for putting down the trinkets we’d bought. The toilet is separate from the sink and shower, which made it easier for several people to get ready at once. I’d call the value okay. We paid a premium, and I’ve stayed in hotels with an in-room washer and dryer for much less, but you’re also paying for the extra space. I’d recommend it if you want a comfortable stay and can afford a bit more.

Getting ready for our flights home was easy, and we saved some money by not eating out. The washing machine, fridge, microwave, and kitchen things made it simple to prepare, while keeping drinks and chocolate gifts cold for the trip. There was lots of room for people and bags, and having the toilet separate from the bathroom worked well for a group. The space and location were just right. It was easy to find, and the entrance was welcoming and easy to spot at night when we were coming back from the transport links.

The neighborhood was so peaceful, and we were close to a 24-hour Life Supermarket and plenty of halal places to eat. Getting around was easy too, with the Yamanote, Asakusa, and Hibiya Lines nearby. The room had everything we needed, including a kitchen, washing machine, and bunk beds for the kids. We had a great family stay at Monday Apart Asakusabashi Akihabara.

The in-room laundry was the best part, especially with detergent already provided, and it was an easy walk to a main station. The room worked really well for our small family, with two single beds and a bunk bed that also serves as a couch. There’s a basic full kitchen, TV, large table, and a fairly roomy shower and bathroom. The free WiFi held up even with heavy use.
