I stayed six nights and could get to everything I needed on foot without too much trouble. It suited me well as a solo traveler. The bathroom felt a little cramped for a big guy like me, but I managed. Pretty much what I was after.

I loved this place, with its Japanese feel, and getting to shibuya was easy. The toilet may be a little small for a man.

My breakfast-included plan didn't include a hotel restaurant, so I had the breakfast set at a coffee shop nine doors down. It cost around 570 yen. There wasn't much useful signage. On entering, I saw an automatic check-in machine to the left of the front desk, but no one was there to explain it, and no sign said check-in was done by machine. I had to call someone for instructions. Later, I couldn't find the ceiling light switch in my room. The front desk told me to use the remote, which was simply left in the room with no sign explaining it. Clearer signs could save staff time.

I slept badly because a speaker for the hotel's public address system crackled faintly through the night. The toilet and shower room are also extremely small. Otherwise, it's convenient and good value. The station is close, and there are a McDonald's, convenience store, and ramen shop along the way. A gyudon place is across the street, so even arriving late, there are places to get food or a drink. The self-check-in machine is easy to use, and entering your name is enough for it to confirm your reservation, so you can head straight to your room.

There's a Seijo Ishii supermarket nearby for picking up snacks and alcohol. Shibuya Station is a 20-minute walk away, so keep that in mind. The rooms are small and plain, with just the basics. It feels like a place that's been cut back to keep costs down, and the price reflects that.
