OTHER SPACE Asakusa

Our room was larger than I expected and could easily fit four pieces of luggage. They provided water and clean towels daily, and the temple is just five minutes away on foot. Asakusa Station takes about ten minutes to reach. I don't think breakfast was served, but there's a café literally next door. Wifi was fast enough that you could work remotely through the night. I hadn't realized free room service was available, which was very handy when we came back from shopping each day. The laundry room was the only challenge: it has just 3 machines, and a wash and dry cycle takes about 1-3 hours in the same machine. Luckily, a 24-hour laundromat is about two blocks away, so it wasn't much of a problem. I'd recommend the hotel and book again next time.

The station is a bit of a walk, so if you've got big bags, getting them delivered is a good idea. Inside, the common areas and entrance are cute and welcoming, with a lovely café and a rooftop space as nice extras. The room was compact and the bed very firm, but it had what I needed for a comfortable stay. Everything was very clean and well maintained, without any dust or other issues. It's the sort of small but well-designed Japanese hotel you'd expect, and a pleasant, tidy option if that's what you're looking for.

The hotel was quiet and peaceful, which mattered most to us. We were happy with how clean it was and how friendly the staff were, and the location was amazing. There were three of us, but since we didn't have much stuff or large suitcases, the room size was just right. It was our first visit to Tokyo, and I'd definitely choose this hotel again if we return.

We loved the location in Asakusa. Senso-Ji temple is a five-minute walk away, the station is ten minutes on foot, and the best ramen cafe in Asakusa is just three minutes away. From the top of the main road, turn left, and it's the black and white cafe on the left. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a choice of feather or memory foam pillows. There's a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities, plus extra free tea, toothbrushes, and other amenities at reception. Laundry is free, but takes hours. Ours took nearly 6 hours, and there are only 3 machines. It's a great hotel. We'd stay again if we return to Tokyo and would 100% recommend it.
