You have to speak to someone here, since they don’t use a tablet. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful toward foreigners, though their English is limited. I’d recommend reading the accommodation details on the website so you know what you’re booking and can communicate more easily. To reach the baths and karaoke room, you have to pass through the lobby, so it’s less discreet than some people might want. The Bali-themed rooms are standard, and free alcoholic drinks and snacks come with either a rest or a stay. A unique experience, and I’d recommend it to foreigners interested in trying one.

In my life, the1hotel I enjoyed the most This may be the best hotel I’ve stayed in, and it beats almost anywhere that costs even twice as much. It’s a love hotel for adults and short stays. The amenities were excellent, and everything was free except room service and the beer in the in-room minibar, both clearly marked as paid. Alcohol in the downstairs lobby was included, too. The price covered unlimited use of the sauna, karaoke, board games, massage chairs, and a lobby lounge for watching movies or anime. The huge private baths allowed couples. You could also take as much tea and as many bath items as you wanted, from scented bath products and scrunchies to powdered Pocari Sweat. I appreciated not feeling like I was being overcharged. The hotel was very clean and didn’t smell of smoke. Even if you’re not interested in the love hotel part, I can’t recommend it enough for a night near Ikebukuro. I’ve stayed at much more expensive “normal” hotels elsewhere without amenities of anywhere near this quality. There are only a small number of rooms in the whole building, maybe 25 or so, which gives it an intimate, quiet, relaxing feel. Being able to hang out in the lobby in a bathrobe was a lovely touch. A truly serene stay.

Even traveling on my own, I felt at home here. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the complimentary amenities were better than I expected. I'd happily return.

I contacted the hotel group by email with a complaint two weeks ago and never heard back, so I'm sharing what happened here. We stayed for two nights, but our room wasn't cleaned and the towels weren't replaced on the second day. I hadn't asked them to skip service, and I thought daily cleaning was standard. It made me wonder if they assumed we were only there for a short stay, perhaps because the hotel also serves couples by the hour. The room key arrangement was another problem. There were two of us, but we were given just one key, and guests are apparently expected to leave it at reception whenever they go out. My wife stayed behind to use the hotel's other facilities, so she needed the key while I went out. As I was leaving, a female staff member called angrily for me to come back and hand it over. I didn't have it, and her expression and manner felt extremely poor. We're foreigners and couldn't understand why she was angry when I had no key to give her. Maybe guests are expected to stay together and share one key. We'd stayed at Osaka tennoji bali Tower before and never encountered such a strange rule or such poor service from a staff member. I'm disappointed and wouldn't recommend this hotel to foreigners.

I can't give this place zero stars, though that's what I'd choose. The staff were outright unkind, rude, and no help at all. As a foreigner, I didn't feel welcome here. They came across as condescending, with very little patience or empathy.
