Planetyze Hostel

The shared facilities turned out to work better for our family of four than I expected. We hardly ever waited for a shower or toilet, and if the ones on our floor were occupied, we could use another floor. Each floor is small, so everything is close by. The sinks and lights have sensors, the showers dry quickly and were easy for people around 120 to 180 cm tall, and the soap, shampoo, and body wash smelled nice. We had a family room, and the kids were thrilled with the built-in bunks. The room setup suited us, the temperature was just right even though guests can’t adjust it, and the neighborhood was very quiet at night, with hardly any cars. Getting to the main stations was quick and easy. The cafe downstairs had good choices, and we really appreciated the free water. It felt safe and clean, which impressed us for a hostel. The room uses a key card, while the showers, toilets, and washrooms have simple flip locks. The beds have two plugs, a light switch, a little shelf, and a towel bar. A couple of things could be better. The walls are thin, so you might want to ask the desk for the free earplugs or use some white noise. There’s no top sheet, just a comforter in a duvet cover, a pillow, and a towel. The comforter was too hot for me, though I need something over me to sleep, so a lighter blanket would’ve helped. We’d happily come back. Maybe we’ll try one of the tours or game nights next time.
