We slept really well, and although we’d been told it might be noisy, it didn’t bother us at all by Japanese standards. The rooms are very clean, thoughtfully designed, and spacious enough. The location is great, right by the train station and within walking distance of lots of good restaurants and shops. We arrived very early because of our travel schedule. Check-in is self-service, but a very pleasant man came to help us, which we appreciated. There’s no luggage area for early arrivals, so keep that in mind. We hadn’t realized that, and the staff helped us a lot. They were super polite and lovely.

The one thing I liked was how easily we could get to the subway, and there were some nice restaurants nearby. Beyond that, this was by far the worst hotel of our Japan trip, and we won’t return. The double room was so tiny that two people and their suitcases barely fit; with one suitcase open, you had to do something like parkour just to stand on the carpet. The main street was very loud, and the poor sound insulation meant earplugs were necessary. Ventilation was terrible. The vents seemed to spread more dust than they filtered, and the window couldn’t be opened, so there was no way to air the room out. There was mold on the ceilings that looked like it hadn’t been dealt with. The bathroom was relatively large for the room, but cleaning seemed superficial. The water stains on the shelf under the shampoo bottles could have been removed by lifting them now and then. After one use, the towels smelled bad, which made me think they weren’t being washed properly. And there was a stain on the bedding. I can’t understand how this hotel has a 4.8 rating on Google.

We had four of us, two adults and two grown teenagers, and the apartment felt like a proper place to stay without having to climb over one another. The beds were comfy, and there were big fights over who got the ‘loft’ bed. Everything was well equipped and exactly as described. It’s a great spot for Akibahara, close to Electric Town but away from the maddening crowds. The staff were great, always helpful and responsive, and they acted on messages quickly. Loved this hotel, and highly recommend it.

Our family of six had enough room here, and the hotel was clean. Check-in and checkout were smooth. There are a couple of train stations nearby, and the food court is a five-minute walk away with amazing options. A fantastic place to stay, and I’d highly recommend it.

The room was okay, and the bathroom was bigger. The hotel was easy to find, too. But it didn’t feel welcoming to see a warning that they’d charge for water damage when the shower floor itself looked worn and cracked, as in the pictures. The balcony door had a sign saying not to open it, and the room felt stuffy with no airflow. Our balcony door also wouldn’t stay shut, and a light push opened it. There wasn’t much to say about the bed or room otherwise. We went in and out the previous evening without seeing anyone, so we couldn’t tell staff about the balcony door. At checkout, that was the only time we saw someone. The gentleman was nice, but asked for a review straight away. First, though, we were bombarded with emails asking us to pre-check in. Even after completing the whole online process, nobody was at reception and the iPad asked us to enter everything again. It wasn’t a bad place for a quick overnight stay.
