PETALS TOKYO - Floating Hotel

A basket of French pastries, fresh orange juice, and coffee delivered for breakfast was one of the best hotel treats I’ve had. The staff made that meal memorable, and their attention to detail throughout made the stay feel special. After spending time among crowds at tourist spots, we loved coming back to spacious accommodation with a soft, comfortable bed and great pillows. The roomy bathroom had a heated towel rack and a sauna in the shower. Music played pleasantly through the in-room system, and the view across the water was lovely. There were several good restaurants nearby, and the streets were pleasantly quiet when we walked around. It was a luxurious treat in so many ways. We’ll come back to Japan and stay here again to unwind.

I really enjoyed the five days I spent here. It’s a spacious, stylish place on a pontoon on an inner-city Tokyo island, with everything you need to rest and work. Beautiful and thoughtful, and a good way to get away from the tourists. The station is an eight-minute walk, or the monorail is even closer.

We had a lovely two-night stay at Petals. Our unit was comfortable and spacious, and waking up to swans swimming past our windows was such a special experience. Each room has a different design, so we’d love to come back and try another one.

The canal walk in the early morning was lovely, and the stay was relaxing right through to the end. I’d like to spend longer here next time. During my first visit to Petals Tokyo, I stayed in room 4, and it was comfortable throughout. The bed was comfortable, and the shower room was spacious. Built-in speakers gave the room a nice atmosphere. In the mornings I drank coffee and watched the sun come up over the scenery. The night view was beautiful, too, and everything felt peaceful and quiet. A staff member casually said goodbye on my way back and kindly showed me the way to Shinagawa Station. I appreciated that thoughtful gesture. They also arranged pickup for my luggage for the next destination and filled out the shipping label. Thank you for that help. As you’d expect in a floating hotel, the room sometimes rocked a little when boats went by. My companions and I found it fun, and it became a happy memory rather than a problem. Thanks so much to all the staff. I’ll definitely stay here again!
