Section L Kuramae

Kana even tracked down golf options for us and called to check the details, which really showed how helpful the staff were. They always greeted us, answered our questions, and suggested good places to eat. I’d happily stay at a Section L hotel again when I’m back in Tokyo. We spent seven nights here in mid-September, when it was still very hot, and the air conditioning worked great. Asakusa and Senso-ji temple were about a 15-minute walk away, and we went there often. It became one of my favorite parts of Tokyo. The hotel itself looked modern and clean, and check-in after our long flight was quick and easy. The staff spoke English. Our Deluxe Studio Apartment had plenty of space by Tokyo standards, including room for luggage and a table. With three of us, it was handy having the toilet and shower in separate rooms. The shower area was split too, with the sink and washer/dryer in one room and the shower in another. The toilet was a modern Japanese model with all the features, and the sink had a filter for drinking tap water. There was also a fridge, microwave, and stove. Kuramae subway station was only a short walk away, even with our luggage.

We spent five days here, and it worked well for our family of four. The apartment had a mini kitchen, washing machine, and a bathroom with enough room for all of us. It’s within walking distance of Asakusa, and although a busy road is about 100 meters away, the surroundings were still quiet. A good alternative accommodation option.

We’d come back here if we return to Tokyo. The staff were really friendly and ready to help, and there are several stations nearby. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with lots of nice cafés, while the main shopping and dining areas are about a 10-minute walk away.

Ian and Anzel, the young Filipino guy, both went out of their way to make my stay pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location made things easy, with Senso-ji Temple and nearby train lines only a short walk away.
