The guests were respectful about noise and personal space, and the hostel itself was neat, clean, friendly, and comfortable. There's also a discount coupon for Frankie, a local coffee shop with the best coffee in shimokita. For a solo traveler in Shimokitazawa, this is the place to consider. I'll stay again next time.

Shimokitazawa is a cool neighborhood, but I'd choose a different place next time. This was the weakest hostel I've stayed in in Japan. The common areas and bathrooms felt cluttered, and the space overall was pretty small. There isn't much separation between the beds and common areas, so light and noise carry into the bunks.

We stayed as a couple and were very comfortable. The hostel has a nice mix of private rooms and single and double pods. The staff were attentive and friendly, and we'd stay again.

A few minutes on foot from the station, this place is clean, fashionable, and reasonably priced. The staff speak English fluently. For exploring Tokyo's new hip area, it's the best hotel in the shimokitazawa area.

The location is fantastic, and it's an awesome hostel. You can choose capsule beds or a private room, which I found on Airbnb.
