Sotetsu Grand Fresa Tokyo Bay Ariake

The room was too warm and uncomfortable for sleeping when I first checked in. I told Ms.Nakajima, the customer service officer, and she handled it patiently and efficiently until the issue was resolved to my satisfaction. I'm grateful to her and the hotel manager for their professionalism and warm hospitality. For a three-star hotel, the service and attentiveness rival many five-star places. Every staff member I encountered was courteous, professional, and genuinely caring. I felt welcome and valued throughout a very pleasant, comfortable stay. I'd happily return and recommend the hotel to other travelers. 👏

The breakfast buffet was really enjoyable, and the staff were helpful. The amenities were good too. We stayed three nights near Tokyo Big Sight and Kokusai Tenjijo Metro station. Check-in and check-out are done at self-service kiosks. The stay was happy overall, though the price felt a little high for the value.

The facilities were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and we had a wonderful stay. What we appreciated most was how reception trainees T.Osodo and Ma Yume Kano helped when our child became unwell. They helped us contact a nearby medical centre and went further to find a clinic where English was spoken. With the language barrier, their patience and compassion gave us real comfort and support at a stressful time. We're very grateful for their kindness and professionalism. Their help made the stay especially memorable, and we'd highly recommend this hotel. Thank you again.

The last of our three nights here was very disappointing. Tokyo is a place I like, but I won't stay at this hotel on my next visit. We had a lot of luggage and a child, so I asked for a room near the elevator. After checking in, we discovered the bathroom drain wasn't working after a shower. They moved us to another floor, but that room was a long way from the elevator. Be careful about leaving anything in your room. I remember putting a bottle of plum wine in the fridge at 9:00 a.m. on our departure day. I meant to have it after breakfast but forgot. It wasn't expensive, but when I asked at 1:00 p.m., the desk said they hadn't seen it. They didn't apologize.
