Tokyo Kamakura House

The owner is friendly and happy to answer questions, and the rooms are very clean. It's close to the station, so getting to tourist spots is easy. There's a big supermarket across from the station that stays open late, which makes the area convenient to live in. The price is reasonable, and I'd be glad to come back.

I only passed through the guesthouse, so I can't say how it would be for a longer stay. It has all the necessary amenities, and the hostess was very hospitable. I somehow feel sure there wouldn't be any problems or inconveniences. I also spoke with an American who lived there and taught English; he had only positive things to say, though that was in 2017. Katsushika is a cozy place, too. In August, sitting on a bench by the guesthouse late at night was a lovely feeling. It was quiet apart from the cicadas.
