Toyoko Inn Tokyo Haneda Kuko No.1

I was very unhappy with the way one employee treated me when I asked to store my luggage after checking out on Nov 22 2025. He spoke rudely, raised his voice while reading my full name aloud, and ordered me with a gesture to attach the luggage tag myself. In more than 30 stays at different branches of this hotel, I had never been asked to do that, especially in such a commanding way. He also gestured for me to put my own suitcase in the storage area. There were no other guests needing his help at the time. I didn’t want to move the net over other people’s bags, and I was going to talk to him about it. When another employee came to the front desk, he walked off and urged my husband to hurry up and fasten the tag. I have never been treated so poorly. I think he would still have made me put the suitcase in the pile myself if his colleague hadn’t appeared. This complaint is only about that particular foreign employee. The local staff member who checked me in the previous evening was very friendly, and the employee who later helped me collect my luggage was polite. She even removed the tag for us, since my husband had tied it in a tight knot because he didn’t know how to fasten it properly. We’re extremely dissatisfied. I understand staff may not be required to attach tags for guests, but I have never run into this before, much less with such a hostile manner when nobody else was waiting. I know there may be little to do after the fact, but management should know what happened.
