Toyoko Inn Tokyo Monzen Nakacho Eitaibashi

The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and the room was beautiful. My girlfriend and I stayed for a week and loved it. The price was amazing, and I especially liked the free breakfast. Thanks for such a great experience. I can’t wait to return to this same hotel.

There’s a supermarket nearby, and Monzen Nakacho Station is a good walk away. Staff were accommodating, and check-in and checkout were quick and easy. The breakfast buffet is worth having, plus there’s free coffee from 6 a.m. to midnight. The TV has streaming apps built in.

I stayed March 1-5, 2026. The beds are large, and the place is comfortable, with a great breakfast. There are lots of restaurants and a few supermarkets nearby, and both the local train station and JR station are close. The only awkward part for me was the room layout: I couldn’t open my big suitcase easily, so I kept opening the door to get to it.

The room was small but fine for a couple with one suitcase and a few smaller bags. It was clean, though we heard some noise from neighboring rooms. The complimentary breakfast was better than expected, but checkout at 10 a.m. felt early. The hotel is reasonably priced and close to metro stations, cafés, restaurants, and supermarkets. Check-in was the frustrating part. We arrived before 3 p.m. and our room was ready, but staff asked for $10 per hour for early access. The charge itself wasn’t the problem. We only found out that early check-in was an option after asking a second time. At first, we just got a curt response to come back at 3. As other reviews have said, the staff didn’t seem especially welcoming. A decent 3/5 stay, but customer service needs a lot of work.
