Hyatt House Tokyo Shibuya

The front desk staff were warm and helpful the whole time, and service overall was great. The rooms are spacious and the bed is really comfortable, too. Breakfast was the one weak spot and could be better, but it didn’t spoil an otherwise very good stay. The hotel is right in the heart of Shibuya, and I’d definitely consider it for a Tokyo trip.

We had a great view and loved the blackout shutters on a day when jet lag hit. The room had a stove, fridge, freezer, washer, and plenty more, and the bathroom was large with quality products. We stayed three nights for our honeymoon, and it felt more luxurious than what we were used to. Staff spoke English and helped us through everything. Coming from Kyoto, we reached Hyatt House Shibuya easily via the station. Take the farthest south exit for the quickest walk, and remember the lobby is upstairs. We weren’t especially interested in Shibuya Crossing, but it was easy to get around the area, which is very young and hip. Three nights felt just right for Shibuya. I hope you get to experience this once in your life too.

We could hear the train rumbling late at night since the hotel sits right above the station, but for me that’s part of the location. The pillows were a little too hard for my taste, though, and that’s the one thing that cost it a star. The rooms were incredibly comfortable, clean, and seemed new, with a washer and dryer in ours. It’s right in the middle of everything, and the staff were really friendly. I’d stay here again if I get the chance.

The room was so thoughtfully laid out, spotless, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The pool was wonderful, honestly nicer than the pools at most five-star hotels I’ve stayed in. We could reach lots of shops and restaurants without ever going down to street level, though all the elevated walkways took a minute to figure out. The station is stroller-friendly too. The staff were kind and helped us when my daughter got sick. This is easily the nicest Hyatt House I’ve stayed at.
