The bathroom got steamy fast because its ventilation fan was weak. Even with a powerful fan in the main room, it took a while for the air to clear and feel less stuffy. Opening the windows helped. Leaving the bathroom door open might work for couples or families, but it wasn’t practical for us as friends. We also had to ask for another pillow for the tatami futons, which we enjoyed sleeping on. The rooms are small, as you’d expect in Tokyo, and we were otherwise happy with the stay. The staff were cheerful and kind, and the location is convenient for metro connections, food, and shopping. I also liked being close to the river for morning runs, and the Sky Tree views were awesome.

The reception staff were really nice and accommodating. They let us check in early, and replaced the shower curtain after we mentioned it looked a bit moldy. That kindness made our stay really enjoyable. The hotel is right across from Sensoji temple and about a five-minute walk from the nearest metro station.

The host was a really nice guy and even helped me call other people when I asked. The location is perfect. I’ll definitely come back when I visit Asakusa again.

The rooms are tiny, but clean and comfortable, and the hotel is good value near shops and attractions. It worked well for a night or two. There was a cold draft from a vent behind our bed. The bath and shower were the smallest I’ve ever seen, but they worked, and the toilet seat was heated, which was nice. The bathroom had an unpleasant smell, though, and the lift smelled of cigarette smoke. Still, a decent place to sleep for a night, and I’d recommend it for a short stay.

Our flight was in the evening, and the staff kindly kept our bags for us after checkout. The room at the Floral Hotel was super clean, with everything brand new. It’s in Asakusa, very close to the temple and bars, and the metro is within walking distance. Highly recommended!
