Toyoko Inn Tokyo Shinagawa Aomono Yokocho Station

It's an excellent spot, just 50m from the station. The buffet was delicious, and the room came with all the amenities. Staff were lovely, let us leave our bags before check-in, and lent us an umbrella when it was raining.

I had a nice stay and might book here again if I get the chance. The neighborhood is quiet, it's within walking distance of a mall, and the train station is easy to get to. I didn't really hear the trains at night, so that wasn't an issue for me. It's also close to Haneda Airport. The staff were very helpful, especially when they helped me track down a parcel containing our wifi device. Keep your translator handy. There's not much room to move around, but for the price you get the essentials: a closet, bathtub, hair dryer, reading light, and so on. You'll need to keep your things organized, and lots of big luggage could be a challenge.

The room was clean and comfortable, but felt out of date. Breakfast was simple with little choice, and the seating area was small. There was only one small elevator. For the same price, we recommend Toyoko Inn Haneda2 on the same railway, which is better.

The location is decent, particularly for getting to Haneda airport. It's a standard, quite small Tokyo hotel. The hallway smells a bit, and you can hear the trains sometimes.
