The room felt spacious by Japanese standards, and the newer building is bright and clean. I've stayed at Toyoko Inn for 13 nights over the years in Japan and Busan, and Toyoko Inn Kiba is the best one I've tried. The free breakfast was different too, with sandwich buns, yogurt, and soup instead of the usual Japanese spread. Mizuno San made the stay unforgettable with his constant enthusiasm and big smile, which you don't see as often these days. He helped me check in a little after 11 in the morning, and when I came back after 9 at night, he was still on duty. The next morning I spilled my coffee by accident, and he cleaned it up. I even wondered if Toyoko Inn staff work 24-hour shifts because Mizuno San always seemed busy. He greeted guests cheerfully at reception, cleared breakfast trays, and wiped the floor dry after guests came in from the rain. Toyoko Inn is lucky to have him. He's a real asset to any organization.

I came for a solo trip and the room size was just right. It’s conveniently close to two entrances for the Tozai Eki Line, and the staff were very nice throughout my stay. I stayed from 4/9-4/12 and would definitely come back. Thank you!

The breakfast was far from the usual Toyoko Inn Japanese-style buffet. There were two soups, served in disposable polystyrene bowls, which wasn't great, and somehow neither was miso. No green tea either, just coffee and orange juice. I wasn't impressed. The view from my room was pretty dreary, facing the neighbor's emergency stairs. It’s otherwise a solid, dependable Toyoko, with the latest-generation setup, including in-ceiling showers and a step-free bathroom. Still, it's definitely not the best Toyoko Inn I've stayed at.

The room is small but very well equipped, and the service is good. The breakfast is included, but its quality didn’t meet my expectations. I’d read that the hotel was new, and since marketing photos seldom match the real thing completely, I think it deserves at least four stars.

Good, clean room at a decent price. I stayed one night and had no problems. There’s onsite parking, though it wasn’t available when we checked in. Overall, a good stay.
