We had enough space for two, though the room is compact, like Japanese city hotels generally are. It has the feel of a business hotel, with a particularly nice view. Being up on the 21st floor in Akihabara was the highlight for me, with the hotel rising above the surrounding city. Breakfast was tasty, if a little crowded. We had a fantastic stay and would come back on our next Japan trip.

The bathroom was spotless, and the sheets were clean, which mattered most to me. The room itself could have been cleaner, since there was some dust beside the bed. It was a decent size, with comfortable beds and a good view. The bathroom was great too, with a separate wet area and both a shower and tub. Getting to the metro takes a walk, and the nearby station and bridge seemed to confuse my GPS, so Google Maps was hard to follow around the hotel. The location was just okay for me, and I'd choose somewhere else. It also felt pricey, especially around cherry blossom season. Maybe the rate is better in low season.

The staff were a real bright spot throughout my stay. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and clearly tried to make things pleasant. The location is very central, right around the corner from Akihabara, with attractions and restaurants easy to reach on foot. The rooms are quite small and can feel cramped if you're staying longer. Nearby train tracks also bring quite a bit of noise at times, which could disturb your sleep. It's a good fit for a short visit if you want to be central and aren't very sensitive to noise.

I spent 13 nights here, and it worked well for me as a solo traveler. The room is small, as is typical for Tokyo business hotels, but comfortable. There were three hangers, fabric spray, and a small fridge. As far as I recall, they didn't provide water, and there wasn't a charger in the room either. At the lobby, the UCC Drip Coffee was very nice, and the razors were good quality, not the disposable kind. Washers and dryers on floors 3 and 4 cost 500 yen to use, and there are ice machines too. Akihabara station is about a 5 to 10 minute walk. The hotel sits down a small lane, which can feel dark and quiet if you return late. The staff were extremely nice and polite, always smiling and greeting people as they passed. It was a good stay for me.

Breakfast was the standout for me: the buffet brings together Electric Town's tech and local dishes like Edo Sweet Miso and Fukagawa-meshi. The automated rice machine is fun to watch, and the food was a great part of my stay. The hotel was very clean and felt like a safe, dependable base for exploring Tokyo's tech district. It's a sleek 25-story building about a five-minute walk from the station, right in the heart of Akihabara. My room was on the 13th floor, but the neighboring building was so close that the view was basically a wall. With the curtains open, though, the room still got nice natural light. There are a couple of nearby spots worth mentioning: Oden Sakaba KORONAGIRAI for 60 minutes of all-you-can-eat Oden at 500 yen, and mAAch ecute Kanda Manseibashi, a stylish mall in an old red-brick bridge. SUKIYAKI TRAVEL JAPAN on YouTube has an honest 4K look at the wall view and the breakfast setup.
