Hotel Villa Fontaine Tokyo - Hatchobori

The staff were very friendly and polite, and the location was perfect, close to two metro stations, good restaurants, and konbinis. I stayed for close to six days. The room got warm easily, so we had to use the AC, and the dry air wasn’t great. Still, I’d gladly come back.

I was here for two nights on a work trip. The room stayed comfortably warm even though it was cold outside, and the Wi-Fi was strong the whole time. The staff were courteous, and the station is about a five-minute walk away, with plenty of good restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The room size was decent, though two people might find it a squeeze. The shower had good pressure and hot water, and I liked the Japanese toilet. Some items, including coffee powder and lotion, were kept near reception instead of in the room. Breakfast was just okay. I only ate there because meetings left me no time to go elsewhere, and on my own I wouldn't choose it. There was also a scheduled fire drill in the middle of the day, which was a little annoying, though not a major problem.

I couldn't sleep because the people in the next room were screaming and banging around, and the room was really noisy. I told management, but they didn't give me any real response. I'm not happy about it. Japan normally has very good service.

The TV supports Netflix, which was a big plus for me. I stayed eight nights, and on the second day the neighbors were so loud we couldn't sleep. I called the front desk at 3am, and they moved us to another room straight away without hesitation. The service was excellent. I also wish they had more coin laundry machines.
