The snorkeling right from the beach was my favorite part. I saw sea turtles, eagle rays, loads of little fish, and living coral. This is my favorite campsite, and I really recommend it.

The sites were comfortable and well looked after, and the staff were so friendly that I felt at ease there. I was traveling alone around Shikoku in mid-November, and since I was the only camper that day, I could park almost beside my spot, depending on which one I had. Being next to the road means you hear cars early in the morning, but earplugs made it no big deal for me at night. The solo plan cost 2,500 yen and the bath was 400 yen. Showers were open 24 hours. The coin laundry had washers but no dryers. I'd definitely stay here again. As you'd expect from Snow Peak.

The staff were really friendly, and the clean kitchen, toilets, baths, and management building were all close by. There was enough morning shade that the kids wouldn't wake up hot, and for a Snow Peak campground there was more shade than usual, which made things comfortable. Satoumi and the Undersea Museum are nearby, and the convenience store is only a short drive away. Even though it's a long way from the city center, I'd come back. We stayed in room D. The nearby toilet faces the national highway and has no entrance door, so bugs were everywhere. The view wasn't much, and I think room A would have been a better choice. Compared with other Snow Peak campgrounds in the prefecture, this one was much better. I'd rate it around 3.8.

For food shopping, Miyamura is on the way toward central Tosashimizu, near Eneos. The pickled rice bowl I got there was delicious, and they'll fillet fish if you ask. I had them prepare a horse mackerel for namero. There's also a roadside station farther along, so shopping should be fine if you check its hours. It was hot in the middle of summer, so we put our tent in a shady spot. This was my first time camping at SnowPeak. The place was really convenient, with the bath open limited hours, coin showers available around the clock, and a SnowPeak shop. The staff keep everything spotless, and the toilets and baths were very clean.
