Comfort Inn Tosu

The air conditioner was badly moldy. As soon as I switched it on, the whole room smelled, so I gave up and left the heater off. It was a little cold. If all the rooms are like that, it’s a real shame. Otherwise, I liked the atmosphere and surroundings, and the room and bathroom were clean and fairly spacious for standard unit baths. I could enjoy a soak as well as a shower. I often stay at business hotels around Fukuoka and Saga for work, but didn’t have time to try breakfast here. Nearby restaurants and Seven-Eleven were convenient, and the sidewalks were wide.

The buffet breakfast was tasty, even though there wasn’t a huge selection. With the room and breakfast together costing around ¥10,000, I thought it was great value and would recommend it. Parking is free, the hotel is new and clean, and the staff were quite helpful. The hot water gets hot enough, though sound carries a little too easily.

You can get smoothies, juice, and soup at breakfast, with unlimited refills. Laundry can be paid for electronically if you register. The electric dryer takes an hour, so the coin laundry near the station may be better if you’re in a rush. They can accommodate two large vehicles.

The lemon water welcome drink was delicious, and breakfast, served from 6 AM, tasted good too. The guest rooms are spacious. There’s ground-level parking in front of and behind the hotel.
