Plaza Hotel Tosu

The buffet breakfast was really tasty and felt well worth it, and the room was super clean with a very comfortable bed. Since they knew I was a foreigner, they left a sweet note in the room. It's only a five-minute walk to tosu station, with a big supermarket across the way, which is so convenient. I'd definitely stay again if I visit tosu. I'll come again！

The front desk was nice, and the hotel felt comfortable and well cared for despite its retro look. During the long weekend, a group was noisy right outside my room, which was a nuisance. The hotel itself isn't bad, but some people are rude. Even on a school trip, I'd expect more sense. Breakfast was delicious and made with local ingredients. I went back for seconds, and it was even fluffier and tastier than Sagabi. The waitress seemed to keep things clean and replenished, but I found it annoying that she kept watching what I was doing. The food was good, but I couldn't enjoy it, which was a shame. The central air conditioning was another disappointment. Still, I might stay again.

The best part was how friendly and dedicated all the staff were. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast was delicious and mainly Japanese-style, and the location was excellent, just a five-minute walk from Tosu Station. A large shopping mall directly across the street made food and shopping easy. I stayed in Tosu for two days as a stop on my way to Nagasaki. The facilities had some drawbacks. The layout makes it clear this is a somewhat dated business hotel, and my single room was cramped, dim, and very small at about 12 square meters. The WiFi wasn't very stable. Coin-operated washers are on the fourth and eighth floors. If smoke bothers you, I'd use the fourth-floor machine, since the eighth floor smelled quite smoky. Despite those issues, I didn't mind the stay. The photo shows the food I put together myself.
