Y Pub & Hostel Tottori

The location worked really well, close to the station and bus stop, with cute places to visit nearby, including a cat cafe. I enjoyed my stay, though I randomly found eye contact inside the ledge of my sleeping space. The walls are very thin, so you can hear everything, and people packing or chatting early in the morning can get loud. The free earplugs are worth using. The bunk beds have privacy curtains, which is a nice option, but I wish mine were a little longer. The girls’ dorm has a lock, which felt reassuring. There are two showers and two bathrooms on the second floor, plus a rooftop area with tables and chairs. Lockers are available, and you can ask the front desk for keys. The first floor is the pub area, and there’s a shared room on the second floor. The small kitchen was useful, and they provided laundry detergent and a marker for labeling your food in the fridge. When leaving, guests are expected to put away their sheets. Used rental towels, which cost 200 per towel, go in a basket, with the sheets and everything else placed next to it. You can leave your keys in a basket at checkout. Free earplugs are provided.
