Drive Inn Keigetsu

We found this little restaurant right at the T junction. It was busy the day I went, but getting a table and ordering were no problem. The English menu made things easy, and all the dishes were delicious. Lunch last order is at 2pm.

It was pouring outside all night, but the BnB felt peaceful and cozy. We came in the fall and the place was nearly empty, which suited us fine. We had breakfast at the restaurant and enjoyed it. The shared washrooms and shower were clean, and the rustic feel fits the area. I’d consider coming back.

The dishes were fine, but we were charged for an extra meal set that I hadn’t ordered. There were three of us and we’d ordered three sets. I noticed the added charge only after we’d left, so I didn’t go back to get the extra money returned. This is the only dinner place outside Oirase Keiryu Hotel, so check the bill closely when paying.

We had an early dinner here while staying at a nearby resort. The home-cooked food was good quality and reasonably priced. It’s a B&B with a diner open to the public, and they close at 7.30pm. I’d recommend it if you’re in the neighborhood.
