I could unwind in the evening with Wi-Fi and a TV, and the kitchen was spacious enough for cooking your own meals. The room was clean, and the facilities were simple and easy to use. This log cabin sits in a quiet forest setting, a short hike from Lake Toya, with a lovely sense of being close to nature. Check-in is unmanned, but the instructions sent beforehand were clear and made it easy. Without a car it might be a little inconvenient, though the privacy is excellent if you're after a peaceful stay. The facility has only just opened, and I hope it keeps improving. I'd definitely stay again if I get the chance.
