The front desk lady made my one-night stay in a single room memorable. She patiently explained everything, from where to get the welcome drink and how the sento works to putting the key into the wall slot for electricity. She also checked that I’d understood her. I enjoyed just watching her talk, and she treated me like a five-year-old in the nicest way. Tsu itself is boring, but I’d definitely stay at this hotel again if I came back.

I was here for four nights during F1 weekend. The single room was clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was dated, but fine for the price. The location isn’t ideal on weekends, when there are no buses near the hotel. It’s a 15-minute walk to the nearest bus stop for Tsu Station. I’d recommend it for the price and quality.

The room had scuffs on the walls and a little mold on the bathroom ceiling, though the curtains and shower curtain were very clean. The hotel itself was clean but a bit beat up. Staff were really nice and helpful. There are four private onsen baths available for a small extra charge, and they serve a small, inexpensive breakfast. The room views are in the pictures.
