The staff were polite and helpful, and the amenities were really good quality. The room was on the small side, though clean. Tsubamesanjo Station is about a five-minute walk away, and you can see the hotel from the station.

I loved the free adult movies on the TV. The room is small, but clean, with very good facilities, and the station is nearby.

I paid $460 for two small rooms with no breakfast, and parking cost extra. For this remote location, rooms usually go for $40 to $80 even in summer, so that high-season price felt outrageous. The staff were polite, but not very flexible or proactive. The rooms are small, as you’d expect from APA, though a little better than their Tokyo rooms. There are only four chairs in the lobby and no sofa to wait on. At the public bath, you have to line up naked for an open locker, and with just one elevator the wait can get long. APA has long been known for tiny rooms and very high prices in peak season. I wouldn’t stay here in high season.

The room on the seventh floor actually shook in the very strong wind during my stay. If you’re not used to that, I’d ask for a lower floor. Apart from that, it was a great stay for the price.
