Tsubamesanjo Washington Hotel

The beds were fresh and clean, there was a deep bathtub, and the room didn’t smell musty. This Washington Hotel was cleaner than a previous Washington Hotel I visited in Kofu. Breakfast isn’t included, and it’s a bit expensive if you want it. Luckily, the hotel is right next to the Aeon mall, where you can walk in and find something cheap.

The reception staff were very helpful, and the rooms are comparatively spacious and bright. It’s very convenient to be connected to the aeon mall, and the location is great. There’s free parking too, which is another plus. My only complaint is the room key. I struggled a lot to open the door and think they should switch to RFID cards instead of actual keys. Good experience overall.

The hotel connects to the AEON shopping complex. I stayed overnight, and found the room and facilities a bit old, though clean and fair enough. Parking is available at AEON, but it’s a little way from the lot to the hotel. They accept credit cards and some QR code payments.

A basic hotel, with very friendly staff who speak English. The rooms have a TV and aircon, but they’re very dated. The set meal at breakfast is very good. There’s no bar or laundry service, and the restaurant is expensive.
