The meals were a highlight. I spent two nights here, and every course in the kaiseki dinners was different, beautifully made and presented, and so good. Breakfast was excellent too. At this traditional family-run ryokan, they lay futons on the tatami and provide yukatas for dinner. The rooms have lovely traditional decor, and the welcome was warm, with plenty of good vibes. Tsuwano is a lovely town, and Noren-Yado is a great place to stay.

The proprietress was so friendly and funny, and I was very satisfied with the generous portions of tasty food. You can sense the care they put into keeping the ryokan's atmosphere as soon as you see the gate. It's a traditional-style inn in Tsuwano.

A cute little ryokan with really welcoming hosts. The breakfast was amazing, and the hot baths were nice in the evening. The pillows took some getting used to, but otherwise I really liked the place.

A good place to stay in Tsuwano for a fair price. The host was nice, and the meal was delicious.
