The rooms are pretty basic, though the decor is nice overall, and the host was really kind and accommodating. The bathrooms are shared, as you'd expect at this kind of place. The train does pass quite close by, though.

After dinner, the last train went by our room, then it became completely quiet. With no street noise, fresh air, and the smell of the trees, it felt like a cottage in the forest. We slept like babies and felt refreshed for the next day's drive. Our "navi" couldn't find the place, so the hostess came running from the school yard to guide us to her ryokan. We were pleasantly surprised by the nice, new remodeling. Our room was comfortable, well appointed, and at the back, away from street noise. Dinner was so delicious, and there was almost too much of it. Everything was cooked and presented well. I'd promised to write a review and can only do it here, but that's good enough!

The room was clean and comfortable, and the price was very reasonable. The host was so welcoming and friendly, and spoke enough English to help us a lot. Dinner and breakfast were delicious.

When the weather turned bad, the landlady even drove me to the station. She was very hospitable, and the food was delicious. It's a warm, welcoming guesthouse, and I'd definitely stay again if I got the chance.

The landlady was cheerful and polite, which made the stay enjoyable. The price was very reasonable, and the food was luxurious and delicious, especially dinner. Thank you very much 🙇
