The building is an old traditional general hotel that's been renovated to focus on accommodation. It's generally clean despite its age, and set one block off the main road in a quiet area. I picked it for the low room price. It's near Tsuyama Station, and crossing the river by the footbridge behind the hotel brings you to downtown quickly. The parking is all flat, and trucks and buses can fit if you arrive early enough.

The room had an orange look, probably from the yellow curtains, and the emergency exit sign was huge, so it looked very much like an emergency exit. I stayed here quite a while ago. It's an old-fashioned hotel with a bit of that Showa-era charm, and the price was reasonable.

I stayed in the annex this time, where the bath and toilet were old. Some rooms have washlets, while others don't. The amenities included a toothbrush and razor. Tsuyama Station is a bit far but still walkable. I used the free parking, which is first come, first served.

For a 5,500-yen stay including tax, I'd rather have a private room with its own bath and toilet. If comfort matters, Comic Com costs 4,500 yen. Don't compare this place with a Reiwa-era business hotel. It's reasonably priced for anyone who mainly wants a private room. Lawson and Bamiyan are a 2-3 minute walk away, so finding food or a drink is easy even without meals. The equipment is old, the parking lot is dark, and the room lighting is dim. The water and bed areas felt clean, but the pillow itself smelled bad. There's a washlet. No welcome drink; the water in the pot seemed to have been refilled ahead of time, and the cup was paper. Amenities are all there, though I wished for hand soap. The shower lets you adjust the water volume and temperature, but hot water suddenly came out while I was showering. I thought I was going bald. Wi-Fi may depend on the room: 5G barely reached, and 4G might not be worth expecting.

This is Koshi Inaba's hometown. The hotel is close to the station and good value. It's an older place, but for a room-only stay, I think it's worth coming back to. A great place to stay for concerts where you want to celebrate a win and the like.
