Kokusai Hotel Ube

The atmosphere was calm, the rooms were clean, and the staff were helpful and polite. Shops are close by, so the location is convenient. International Hotel Ube was a pleasant, comfortable choice for a simple stay in Ube.

I came for work and didn’t expect Ube to have a hotel that was so welcoming to foreigners, since the city wasn’t on the tourist attraction list. The room was on par with other star-rated hotels, and breakfast was the best part of the stay. It starts at 6:30AM. There wasn’t a huge variety, but the food felt fresh, with locally sourced vegetables and home-made Japanese-style dishes. The home-made tofu was my favorite, and a must-try. I spent 10 days in Ube city at Kokusai Hotel Ube, and the rooms and bathrooms stayed comfortable and warm even in winter. The housekeepers were kind, and the receptionist was friendly and spoke English. They provide microwaves, humidifiers, and bicycles for getting around. Tea, sugar, bath powder, and moisturizers are free at reception. The location is very strategic, right in front of Watanabe Memorial Park and close to Ube Shinkawa station, family mart, seven eleven, and wants. If you come in spring, you can see the cherry blossom in the park from your room. 👍👍👍👍

The hotel staff were really nice.
