We had a great time in "Kokoro" with five friends. The second-floor bedrooms were roomy enough for all five adults, and we slept really well. Downstairs, there was space to hang out however we liked, with manga to read, records to listen to, and card games to play. The tatami room behind the meeting area had a wonderfully relaxing view of the courtyard. The facilities are extensive, with three toilets, a laundry room, and a kitchen. It's a private rental in a renovated traditional Japanese house, but the price was surprisingly reasonable, and my friends were very happy with it. We'd previously stayed at "Hitoi" as a family of three, and we really love "Uchiko no Yado." For a large group, "Uchiko no Yado Kokoro" comes highly recommended. Thank you very much! 🙏

We stayed at Uchiko's inn, Kokoro, as a group of seven, and the staff's warm, attentive hospitality made the visit even better. The newly renovated building was clean, beautiful, and thoughtfully finished throughout. Upstairs, there was plenty of room for all seven adults. What struck us first was the scale of the place. The entrance's earthen floor opens up toward the tatami room, with shoji screens framing a beautiful garden beyond. The layout and the view were stunning, and stepping inside felt like entering another world. Staying in a nationally registered tangible cultural property with so much history was a special experience. It combines the charm of traditional Japanese architecture with modern comfort, and we wholeheartedly recommend it.

The thoughtful care from the inn staff really came through, and I found the interior and atmosphere wonderful. It was a great place to unwind, whether quietly or having a lively time with close friends. Thank you very much, many thanks.
