A very nice traditional Japanese place to stay.

It's right by the slopes, which makes it an ideal spot for skiing. The bathroom is spacious, and there's a tea dispenser on every floor for water whenever you want. A shared fridge in the hallway lets you keep food you've brought along cool.

We stopped for lunch while skiing and loved the curry. They were generous with the ingredients, and both the vegetable and chicken curries were delicious. We also ordered pickles. The vegetable curry had a slightly sweet taste that I especially liked, with onions, carrots, eggplant, potatoes, and more.

We only stopped at the restaurant, which you can enter directly from the ski resort. The menu had lots of options and everything looked tempting. I chose the venison curry for 1,400 yen, and it was delicious.
