The shower water pressure in the bath was weak, so washing was difficult. Still, I was very comfortable here and would stay again. The room was exceptionally clean, the staff were kind, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious and satisfying during my sightseeing trip. I'd love to have another lovely stay at this ryokan.

The place felt warm and friendly, and everyone was so nice. Meals were generous and delicious, with a different menu each night during our multi-night stay. It's right by the Nishi-Sugadaira bus stop, and we could walk to the slopes. They even kindly gave us a ride, which we really appreciated.

It's an older place, but it's kept up well and the price is a great deal. The service is friendly and thoughtful, with free coffee in the morning. It has what you need without extra fuss. I do hope they update the bathroom.

Dinner came with free shochu, a nice touch, and there was plenty of rice in a generous rice box. We were very grateful for the hospitality. Both dinner and breakfast were homemade, with lots of carefully prepared dishes and a good balance of flavors. The inn is in Ueda, Shinshu, near the Sugadaira Kogen ski resort. We appreciated the generous rice box, the free shochu at dinner, and the warm hospitality. The handmade meals had a good variety and balance, both at breakfast and dinner, and the inn is near the Sugadaira Kogen ski resort in Ueda, Shinshu.

I really enjoyed the elaborate meals each day, and the tatami room was a relaxing place to unwind. The only extra I wished for was Wi-Fi.
