I was comfortable there, and Ginowan beach was close enough to walk to.

I stayed for two nights on a business trip in early March. The room was clean and fairly spacious, with a kitchen and washing machine. There were about four gas dryers on the same floor, which was really handy. The staff member on duty at the first-floor front desk was very kind. Although they were only there from 15:00 to 21:00, I didn't find the limited hours inconvenient. The driving school in front of the hotel made me wonder if they mainly expected guests attending an intensive license course. The nearby FamilyMart seems to have closed recently, so it took about a 10-minute walk to reach the nearest convenience store, a Seven-Eleven.

The staff were incredibly friendly, almost too friendly to seem real. If you're short on time for check-in, let them know ahead of time. This place is a great value and makes it easy to save your budget for shopping, with PARCO City less than a 10-minute walk away. It's quiet and peaceful, and seems ideal for solo travelers or small groups of friends. There's a free washing machine and induction cooker, plus three dryers on the third floor. The bathroom and toilet are separated into wet and dry areas, and the bathtub is bigger than in most hotels.

I've stayed in many places in Japan and abroad, but I never expected this kind of treatment in Japan. By ordinary standards of good faith and business etiquette, it was the worst possible experience. I found it completely dishonest and I'm deeply disappointed. It makes me ashamed that a place like this exists in Okinawa. I had only two options at the time and picked this one on a whim, which turned out to be a huge mistake. The room facilities were probably worth the price. It's near the ocean, though the view isn't especially good. Being within walking distance of a bus stop is convenient, but the property is along Route 58, so there was quite a bit of traffic noise and dust. I found that pretty annoying, though I know how bothersome it is can vary by person. The front desk hours are limited, which makes things less convenient, but that may be fine if your routine fits them. The major problem I mentioned may be hit or miss and doesn't happen all the time. A short stay of one or two nights could pass without any trouble, which may explain the high rating. Still, it looks like other guests besides me have also given it one star, so I think a certain share of visitors may end up victims.
