The lady who served us was great, even cutting lemon for us. Dinner was the highest-grade Chateaubriand★ Saga Beef Feast Ceramic Box Set, and it was some of the best beef we’ve ever had. The meal also came with a beautiful salad and good tea. Highly recommended.

The food was a highlight, especially the delicious Saga wagyu beef and famous Ureshino tofu, served in generous portions at both dinner and breakfast in my room. My room was 603, with a private onsen bath and a beautiful view. The water felt amazingly smooth. Inside, the hotel has been newly renovated, and the lobby has free drinks and snacks, including wine and beer at certain times. Staff were thoughtful, and one prepared a towel after hearing I was going sightseeing locally with a foot bath. It was my first stay at Ureshino Onsen, and I’d highly recommend Kōyōkaku. Service was excellent, and I’d definitely stay again. Don’t miss it if you visit Ureshino!

Our private onsen room was huge, clean, and tastefully renovated, and the service was kind and attentive. We had a generous portion of good quality saga beef with the sukiyaki dinner. Since this isn't a touristy town, it felt like very good value for money. Our stay was excellent. Highly recommend!

A cockroach came out in my room. Watch out for them. This place is a cockroach brothel.
