Dinner, breakfast, and the onsen were included. It would have been superb if morning onsen use had been included too.

I stopped in for a meal when I visited Kimiidera Temple. It was a typical Japanese inn dinner, with a fair amount of food. Nothing especially good or bad stood out, and the cold dishes were cold while the hot ones arrived hot.

Kimiidera-temple is right behind the hotel and an easy walk away. I stayed here while the kids were playing baseball. It was just okay, a standard business hotel, neither good nor bad.

We spent 3 nights and 4 days there, and everything was good. The only sad part was that the onsen opened quite late and closed a bit early. Still, all was fine, and I’d stay there again next time I visit wakayama.

We went to the hot spring at 9 pm on Friday. The women's section had only three hot baths, and there wasn’t a good view from its outdoor bath. The floor wasn’t very clean, with a few hairs on it. Compared with other baths, this felt very touristy. At 800jpy, it seemed quite expensive for the service.
