I really liked the buffet setup, with lots of dishes to try, and some were prepared right in front of diners, like at a real sushi shop. Dinner was fantastic, and breakfast was great too. The view from the outdoor bath was amazing.

I only visited for the bath, so I can’t say anything about the rooms or restaurant. The outdoor bath was lovely, with a great view toward awaji and Wakayama bay. It was very clean and well looked after, and had all the basics like soap, shampoo, and shaving cream. I’d definitely recommend it.

The view is the real treat here, whether you’re eating or soaking in the onsen, you get a front-row look at the breathtaking scenery. The food was fantastic and very traditional, and the onsen was spotless and well maintained. Getting there without a car isn’t easy, though I understand you can take a train and then a shuttle bus. Prices were very reasonable, and it’s well worth visiting.

The hotel lets visitors use the hot springs until 3 pm. I also got to learn about the history and enjoy a beautiful ocean view.
